Kannur style Inji curry | Ginger Curry


Inji Pachadi/ Inji curry


Ingredients
  • 1tbs  ginger pieces
  • 1/2 cup grated fresh coconut
  • 2 small green chillies,chopped
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • curry leaves
  • 3/4 cup thick buttermilk or yogurt
  • 1 -2 dry red chillies
  • 2 tsp grated coconut to garnish


Directions



Grind together the ingredients 1 to 4 into a coarse paste adding little water. Pour buttermilk into this ground paste.Splutter mustard, dry red chillies, grated coconuts and curry leaves in oil and garnish the pachadi,add salt according to your taste.

Anonymous..there is no specific measurements for this curry,its always a guessswork for me..still posted for u...adjust salt,ginger flaovor and chiilies according to ur taste..thanx for visiting my blog...

Hi Vrinda, I prepared inji curry ,folloewed ur recipe. That was not at all good. It was stinging. I dont know wats is wrong with ur recipe. Maye be ginger & mustard seed is more in ur recipe.

Hi Sharanya pls reduce ginger and mustard. this post was written long back, i mean when i started blogging just as test, Measurements was not accurate,Corrected,sorry abt that.
