- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, atroom temperature
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift the flour, cocoa powder
baking powder and salt and keep aside. In the bowl of an
electric mixer cream the butter and sugar until light and
fluffy. Add egg and vanilla extract and beat until incorporated.
Add the dry ingredients to this butter mixture and mix well.
Using a cookie scoop or ice cream scoop place 1 1/2 tbs of
batter into the parchment lined baking sheet, spacing
about 2 inches apart and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes.
