Cucumber Pachadi/Cucumber in yogurt and coconut blend,No cooking needed


Ingredients
  • 3 /4 cup salad cucumber, grated
  • 1/2 cup grated fresh coconut
  • 1/2 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • curry leaves
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • 1 whole dry red chilli
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
Directions
Grate the salad cucumber and keep aside. Grind coconut, ginger,mustard seeds and green chilli to a fine paste. Add this to the grated cucumber. To this add beaten yogurt and salt, mix well. Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds, red chilli, curry leaves and little bit fresh coconut. Add this seasoning to the pachadi. Serve with rice.

  25. i tried ur cucumber pachadi and it came out well, i normally use papaya, bitter guard , velleri , ash guard or tomato never tried cucumber.
