- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 4 1/2 cups rolled oats
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Put the butter, sugar and
syrup into a pan and heat over low heat for 2-3 minutes until
melted. Mix in the rolled oats and stir well. Pour the mixture
into the baking pan, press down well and bake for 30-35 minutes,
until golden brown, but still moist and slightly soft when pressed.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Cut into squares
and let cool completely for about 30 minutes in the oven.
