Cinnamon Churros



Cinnamon Churros

Ingredients
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • salt, a pinch
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar mixed with cinnamon powder
Directions
Add margarine, water, salt and sugar in a pot. Bring this mixture to a boil. Now turn the heat to low and add the flour stirring well. Keep stirring till the mixture forms a dough. Remove from the heat and add egg and keep stirring until the mixture is smooth. Fill this dough in a pastry bag with large star tip . Squeeze 4 inch strips of dough into hot oil and deep fry till golden brown. Drain on paper towels and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. Serve hot.
