Chicken 65
Chicken 65 is a spicy, deep-fried chicken dish popular in India as a bar snack or starter. The flavour of the dish comes from ginger, garlic and lemon.
Ingredients
- 1lb Boneless Chicken Breast pieces(medium-sized)
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1 tbsp Yogurt
- 2tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- Salt to Taste
- Fresh Coriander Leaves
- Lemon Pieces
- Few drops of Red Food Color
- Oil for frying
Directions
Mix Yogurt, Garam Masala, Chilly powder, ginger-garlic paste, food color and salt together to make a smooth paste in a large bowl. Add the chicken pieces and coat with the paste. Keep it refrigerated for 2-3 hours. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 350 degree F and fry the chicken pieces until it turn golden brown color. Garnish with Lemon and Coriander leaves.
