Apple Upside Down Cake




Ingredients
Directions
    Pour melted butter into baking pan lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with brown sugar.Arrange apples,edge to edge over the sugar mixture. Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. Sift together flour,baking powder,salt and cinnamon powder.Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well..
Add in vanilla. Add the flour mixture alternately with milk,starting and ending with flour. Pour batter over apples and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.Turn the cake upside down on a large plate immediately.
