Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins



 Enjoy breakfast with these quick and  healthy blueberry muffins


Whole wheat blueberry muffins 

 Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup molasses or honey
  • 2 tbs melted butter
  • 1/2 -3/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl combine flours, baking powder and salt, set aside. In a separate bowl
beat egg, milk, molasses and melted butter. Add this to the dry ingredients with a few swift strokes. Fold in blueberries . Pour the batter into muffin cups and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean.Let cool on a cooling rack for 2 to 3 minutes,Serve with hot tea or coffee.
