Skillet cookies \ Chocolate chip cookies baked in a cast iron skillet
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3.4 oz package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Sift together the flour and baking soda and set aside. In a separate bowl
cream the butter, sugar and brown sugar. Beat in instant vanilla pudding mix until well blended. Stir in eggs
and vanilla. Now blend in flour mixture. Finally add chocolate chips. Transfer to 10 inch cast iron skillet. smooth the top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until it is puffed golden and the edges are golden brown. Let the skillet cookie cool for 20 minutes, then cut into wedges. Enjoy with a dollop of ice cream on top.
