Alu Methi Dry(Potatoes with Fenugreek leaves)

  • 1 bunch methi leaves
  • 2 boiled potatoes cut in cubes
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tsp curry masala
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

    (coat the boiled potatoes with little bit turmeric powder,chilli powder,masala powder and salt  and keep aside for 15minutes )
    Heat oil in  a pan splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
To this add garlics,onions,curry masala and saute it for 2 minutes
Then add chopped methi leaves,chilli powder,turmeric powder
amchur powder salt and cook covered for 5 minutes.Finally add
boiled potatoes and mix it well with methi,sprinkle water  and
 cook it  in law  flame till done.....
