Basic Waffles | How To Make Fluffy Waffles






 
Classic light And Fluffy waffles


After Crepes today i am sharing one more from our Sunday breakfast menu, Waffles. For a reduced fat waffle use 4 tbs butter and for a tastier  light and fluffy waffles use 1 to 2 sticks butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tbs baking powder
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 to 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Directions


Preheat a waffle iron. in a large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder , sugar and salt.In another bowl mix eggs, butter and milk thoroughly. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients.Combine with a wire whisk or wooden spatula.Heat the waffle iron until the indicator shows its ready to use.Pour the batter about two-thirds of the grid surface.Close the lid and wait about 4 minutes or till the indicator shows its ready.Serve warm with maple syrup and fruits of your choice.

  14. Yes ,u can use 1/2 cup. For low fat waffles use 1/4 cup butter.

  15. Made these this morning and they were very good! I think I will add cinnamon next time to give it a little big more flavor but much better than my normal basic! Thanks!
