Carnival Funnel Cake



CARNIVAL FUNNEL CAKE

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
Directions
Beat egg and milk together. Mix all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and slowly add to the egg mixture, beat until smooth. Using a funnel or a piping bag drop the batter into the hot oil in a web pattern by making few rounds and then across. Fry till golden brown and crispy. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve hot.

  17. Last summer at my work place we had the eatery next to us, and deliiiicious smelling funnel cakes would come out one by one on customers' eating trays. Fun? A nice memory, for sure.

  19. Thanks Vrinda for supporting me on the issue I faced.I solved the problem. The culprit was my customized feed(feedburner) that overflew and stopped indexing! Hence no updates were seen in Google Reader!
