Okra Pachadi / Vendakka Pachadi


Ingredients

                        • 1 cup okra, chopped in rounds
                        • 1/4 to 1/2 cup beaten yogurt
                        • 1 tsp mustard seeds
                        • curry leaves, few
                        • 1 whole dry red chilli
To Grind
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1-2 green chliies, chopped
1/4 tsp grated ginger
Directions
Fry okras in 2 tsp oil till slightly crisp, keep aside. To this add ground coconut paste and beaten yogurt. Heat 2 tsp oil in a small pan and splutter mustard seeds followed by grated coconuts, red chillies and curry leaves. Pour this to the okra pachadi and serve with rice as a side dish.
