Vanilla Sour Cream Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift flour and baking soda, set aside. Cream butter,sugar and oil until pale and fluffy. Add vanilla extract. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition.Stir in sour cream and flour mixture. Mix well. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
How pretty! I could use a piece of cake now!
