Eggless  Butterless Dates Cake / Eggless Moist Date Cake


Ingredients
  • 1 cup dates, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp all spice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda


Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl sift together  flour and baking soda, set aside. Combine all
other ingredients in a pan and bring to boil. Once boiled, keep it in low  flame for 10 more minutes. Let it cool completely. Add the dry ingredients in three batches, folding in well after each addition..Bake for about  30 to 40 minutes. Serve as a breakfast item with a cup of tea or coffee OR  as a dessert  with Vanilla ice cream or Whipped topping.
