Wheat germ muffins


  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 4 tbs brown sugar
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.Beat egg with milk, add wheat germ. Let stand one minute. Stir in
flour,baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add oil,stir until combined. Do not over mix.Fill muffin cups about half full. Bake 15 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted into the center of the muffins comes out clean.
