Plain Granola Recipe

My daughter loves to munch Granola but she doesn't like to bite nuts. So I made her  simple easy to make nut free Granala.

Ingredients


  • 3 tbs  maple syrup
  • 3 tbs packed light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp  vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 1/2  cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  •  raisins (optional)


Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Whisk maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt in large bowl.
Whisk in oil, fold in oats  until thoroughly coated.  Transfer oats mixture to prepared parchment lined baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake until lightly browned, 40 to 45 minutes, rotating pan  once halfway through baking. Remove granola from oven and cool on wire rack to room temperature. Stir in raisins or any dried fruits. Store in airtight container for up to 2  weeks.
