Bran Pancakes | Pancakes with Wheat Bran

Start your day with these 100% healthy breakfast pancakes   with wheat bran

100% Bran pancakes


  • 1 1/2 cups wheat bran
  • 3 tbs sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 tbs melted butter or veg oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


Whisk together bran, baking powder, sugar and salt. In another bowl  blend together the eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla extract . Add this liquid mixture to dry ingredients and mix until lumps are eliminated. Pour this batter on a hot griddle. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, flipping once until slightly brown. Serve with Maple syrup and fresh fruits.
