Carrot Pachadi


Ingredients
  • 2 cups grated carrots
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 red dry chilli
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt, as neeeded
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • curry leaves ,few
  • 1 tbs grated coconuts
To Grind
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup grated fresh coconuts
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp mustards seeds
Directions


        Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Saute carrots with turmeric powder and salt till raw smell goes. Transfer the carrots to a serving dish. To this add ground coconut paste and beaten yogurt. Tamper with mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilli and coconuts. Serve as a side dish with rice.
