On this special occasion here is an easy simple snack recipe with Channa. Try it , you are gonna love it.
Masala roasted chickpeas
Ingredients
- 1 cup chickpeas
- 1/2 tsp chat masala
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- salt, as needed
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp meat masala or masala of your choice
- 1 tbs olive oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Drain and rinse chick peas in cold water. I used canned chickpeas,
if you are using dry chick peas , soak them in water for 4 to 6 hours and pressure cook up to 3 whistles.In a bowl add chickpeas , oil and all other ingredients, mix well till evenly coated. Place in a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil for about 35 to 40 minutes shaking the pan halfway thorough. Store in air tight containers and munch it any time...
