Princess Cake | 1st Birthday Cake | Doll Cake Without Doll Pan

Princess Birthday cake\ Doll cake Without Using Doll Pan

Our little girl Sanvi turned 1 on July 16th, can't believe she is already 1. For me it feels like yesterday I announced her birth through blog, Time just flies.  On this special day I made my 1st  Doll cake for my princess. It was vanilla cakes with strawberry mousse filling and vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream frosting. Got lots of good comments for the doll cake and cupcakes. That really made me happy.

Here is our real Princess....

My actual plan was to cover the body and dress with ruffles so that it will match with my baby's dress. But I didn't get time to experiment, so went with simple details. But after the party I tried some ruffle works with leftover cream. See the picture below. Thanks to all who came by and special thanks to my hubby who carved the cake for me.
