Easy pumpkin pie with Graham Cracker Crust / How to make Gram cracker crust

Pumpkin pie is one must dessert we make during Thanksgiving holidays. Its super easy if you have store bought Graham crumbs  or graham crackers at home. Its Ok if u don' have all spices mentioned, but  pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon  is a must.

Ingredients For the pie crust

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tbs melted butter
  • 2 tbs granulated white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

Ingredients for pie filling

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix graham crumbs, butter, sugar and cinnamon until well blended. The texture should be like wet sand. Spread the mixture evenly into a 9 inch pie pan. Firmly press the mixture over the bottom and sides of the pan using your finger tips or the bottom of a glass. Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Beat all the ingredients under filling and transfer to the  baked pie crust. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 40 to 45 minutes or until almost set.
